This position will provide instruction for the Psychology AS and Chemical Dependency Practitioner AAS programs. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. Our employees have an opportunity to make a difference in students' lives every day. Full-time faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines. Courses may be taught in traditional classroom settings and over the Internet. This position may include both daytime and evening classes on our Utica and/or Rome campuses. Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of the individual and the School needs. In addition to teaching psychology, addiction studies and human services courses, full-time instructors participate in program assessment, curriculum development, student advisement and facilitating student internship experiences. They serve as members of various School and College Committees.Qualifications:Required Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in Psychology or SocialWork (MSW) with NY State licensure (i.e., LMSW, LCSW)
  • Experience inaddiction counseling Preferred Qualifications
