Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role is responsible for reviewing medical records through a web portal and performing physical exams on each Veteran. Please note that this role is IN-PERSON and DOES NOT make disability determinations nor prescribe medication. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze data, meet requirements and stay on task while conducting 3-5 assessments per day. Requirements include a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and certification from NCCPA. • Perform independent Medical Assessments
• Complete questionnaires and form medical opinions from analysis of data and exam findings
• Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA must be met
