NEW Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) OR Medical Technologist opening at one of the best hospitals in Central New York! This well established, 200- bed, general medical and surgical hospital offers a full range of services including 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. This hospital is looking to hire a permanent, full time, second or third shift Clinical Laboratory Technologist-Medical Technologist.



The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing clinical laboratory procedures and examinations and any other tests or procedures conducted by a clinical laboratory, including maintaining equipment and records, and performing quality assurance activities related to examination performance, and which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility, as determined by the department. Responsible for performing microbiological, virological, serological, chemical, immunohematological, hematological, biophysical, cytogenetical, cytological or histological procedures and examinations and any other test or procedure conducted by a laboratory Candidates MUST have his or her B.S. in Medical Technology or related field. In addition, applicants must have Licensure by NYS SED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required, or licensure-eligible with a limited permit.
