An award-winning teaching hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Dialysis Nurse Manager to join their accredited healthcare team. This state-of-the-art acute care hospital is home to nearly 200 licensed beds and provides comprehensive care to over 600,000 patients annually. The Nurse Manager will work within an acute care hospital system that provides advanced services such as open-heart surgery, specialized cancer treatments, emergency and trauma care, cardiac and vascular care, neurosurgery, perioperative services, women s health, pediatrics, and much more. Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager will lead all clinical and administrative operations of the Dialysis unit. The Nurse Manager is directly responsible for the unit personnel management, hiring and educating of new and existing staff, ensures regulatory readiness with all governing bodies, guarantees high levels of quality patient care, and manages the cost containment of the unit. The Nurse Manager will serve on the executive leadership team and represent the Dialysis unit and team within various committees and boards. Requirements Include: Graduate of an approved nursing program RN state licensure or ability to attain Prior leadership experience in a similar setting This area is known to provide many different activities for any clinical professional to enjoy including various museums, highly regarded wineries and restaurants, and an enjoyable four-season climate.
