Physician Relations Executive engages in efforts with SPHP executive leadership will be responsible for fostering productive relationships with physicians, staff and physician practice leaders to primarily achieve growth for Regional Health Ministries (RHM) across all service lines and business units of SPHP (hospitals, the medical group , and continuing care, in alignment with the organizations strategic plan. Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, the individual will develop and implement plans of action for identifying opportunities, determining and achieving physician engagement with the Health System and Network through open dialogue and in-person visits with both affiliated and non-affiliated physicians in the defined service area and regionally as mutually agreed upon. This position will be and accountable leader on the Business Development Leadership Team.The position will serve as the primary liaison with physicians and their practices for the purposes of increasing awareness of SPHP resulting in growth, increased awareness, improved perceptions and higher levels of satisfaction. This role will provide a closed feedback loop and document such in the PRM. Operational challenges will be directed to the appropriate operational leads and monitored for resolution. However, the primary focus of this role is to nurture productive relationships with physicians and connecting them with the SPHP executive leaders when necessary or productive. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis description is intended to only provide basic guidelines for meeting job requirements. These responsibilities are subject to change at any time.QualificationsBachelor s degree in business, healthcare administration or marketing from an accredited college or university. Master s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in healthcare. 5 7 years of experience working with physicians and healthcare leaders; sales or business development background required.Relationship-focused ability to develop proactive partnerships with physicians directly. Secondary relationships with practice managers and staff, peers, senior leaders and other stakeholders.Highest level of interpersonal and business communication skills (verbal and written) to interact and influence people at all levels within the organization.Self-motivated and self-directed, effective delegator and possesses strong project management skills. Must be accustomed to delivering measurable results including volume growth.Ability to problem-solve and execute initiatives.Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Sensitivity to physician practice issues and time constraints. Adheres to high standards of follow-through on issues.Proficiency with or ability to learn clinical information systems supporting population health management and PRM (Physician Relationship Management tools). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products required.Ability to understand and explain technological changes, new equipment and care modalities.Data skills including ability to formulate conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical and systematic manner.Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of St. Peters Health Partners and Leading Healthcare - Hospitals Company. This includes being accountable for results, having the integrity to represent SPHP effectively, and the personality to engender trust and confidence in being an external face of SPHP in the market.The individual must: (1) communicate verbally; (2) write effectively; (3) drive a car with regional travel required; (4) be available to attend early morning or evening meetings; (5) operate a computer; (6) demonstrate strong listening skills and (7) be driven by the ability to deliver quantitative results
