Marketing and Corporate Partner Manager Boilermaker Road Race The Boilermaker Road Race Team seeks a Marketing and Corporate Partner Manager. This position will collaborate and work closely with the President and Race Director to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a demanding, public spotlight environment. Yearly salary $48,000-$55,000 DOE The Marketing aspect includes promotion of the Boilermaker and all its events and programs as well as co-marketing efforts with the organization's roster of corporate partners with a heavy emphasis on the use of existing and emerging social media platforms i.e. Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook etc. The Corporate Partner Management aspect involves the stewardship of existing relationships by ensuring their overall satisfaction and activations in accordance with each partners individual agreements throughout the year as well as prospecting for new partnerships across the portfolio of Boilermaker events and any potential new events going forward. The balance of the position's responsibilities are of equal importance and cover a diverse cross section of activities including race direction for Boilermaker events and being the primary user of the third party registration software used for event and customer relationship management. Essential Job Functions: Marketing Management - Work with the President to develop and execute the organization's overall marketing strategy - Engage with local, regional and national traditional media to promote Boilermaker brand - Strategic planned development and execution for use of all social media platforms - Relationship Management of any 3 rd party marketing firms the organization engages with - Development and execution of strategic plans to address traditional and longtime participants AND recruitment of potential participants - Event management and ownership of certain events from cradle to grave - Serve as Project Manager on as needed basis Corporate Partner Management - Work with President to develop and execute the organization's overall corporate partnership strategy - Engage and develop relationships with each corporate partner at both the decision maker and point of contact level - Work to determine the needs of each partner and what value their partnership with the Boilermaker can bring to their respective organizations - Structure annual or multi-year agreements - Serve as front line communication and coordination for the Boilermaker's roster of corporate partners - Responsible for the internal coordination and execution of partner-based activities and involvement at events - Ensure all partnership agreement-based deliverables are not only met but exceed expectations. Create and present proposals for use with existing partners and prospects - Conduct post event recap reports for each partner as needed to include quantifiable metrics and results Requirements: Four year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related degree PLUS commensurate experience Demonstrated high level of familiarity with existing and emerging social media platforms Background in sports, health and fitness marketing or media a plus Exceptional communication, organizational, project and time management skills Excellent spoken and written communication skills Graphic design skills Flexibility to work non-traditional hours Experience with Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO, website design, user experience(UX), WordPress, content marketing a PLUS Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate across functions to ensure flawless execution of partnership initiatives
  • Explain and position partnership benefits when interacting with stakeholders
  • Negotiate, drive and sustain global partnership relationships to accomplish strategic and tactical objectives
  • Create and manage articulation agreements and partnership relationships with educational institutions within designated territories
  • Developing and managing top strategic partnerships
  • Develop partnership and channel management strategies in collaboration with the broader team to identify additional business opportunities
  • Develop and manage partnership standards of carrying out needed strategies for improving business to client relationships
  • Cultivate referenceable testimonies and case studies throughout the integrated client partnership
  • Keep aware of partnership contractual constraints and will minimize potential liabilities
