Job Description:

- The Marketing & Sales Manager (MSM) is the heart of the company's success and serves on the leadership team. This is a hands-on managerial position that requires innovation, creativity and effective strategy and implementation to a national audience. The right candidate will have the insight, talent, communication and leadership skills to make our company relevant to every attorney in the country aspiring to do estate planning, elder law and asset protection for their clients. The MSM leads, manages, coaches, and holds all marketing and sales personnel accountable to achieve company marketing and sales goals and works closely with operations, member services and product development to identify and create relevant and timely content. Expertise in digital, social and other forms of national marketing is essential. Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus but not required. The MSM creates and manages marketing budgets, all lead generation and sales benchmarks, key performance indicators, leading and lagging indicators, and establishes marketing and sales goals. The MSM leads and manages a team including content creation, creative development and design, website development, digital marketing, event promotion, and sales. Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain company brand and implement marketing strategies to (i) produce the number and quality of leads to sales personnel necessary to meet company sales goals and (ii) ensure existing members engaged and participate in company sponsored events. * Develop annual marketing and sales plan that detail the target markets, messaging, methods and strategy to reach each to provide sufficient leads for sales to engage. Define and develop the sales metrics, process and timelines anticipated from introduction to engagement. Build and maintain marketing and sales scorecard that tracks all key data in real time * Create and manage systems and processes to ensures all marketing and sales needs are "system" - dependent and not "person" - dependent. * Participate in weekly company leadership L-10 Meeting as well as off-site company quarterly two-day and annual three-day leadership retreats. Hold and lead weekly marketing and sales department L-10 meetings. * Creative out-of-the-box thinker that creates the content required and delivery methods to help prospects identify the relevance of our firm to their needs. * Oversee the creation and delivery of all collateral marketing and sales materials. * Lead, manage, coach and hold accountable all Marketing and Sales department personnel and ensure accurate real-time reporting generated for all key performance indicators and performance goals. * Oversee and ensure all company required marketing and sales projects are managed and completed timely and to specification. * Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and sales as needed. * Create marketing and sales budgets and ensure expenditures are within them. * Address prospective members questions and/or concerns if sales staff is unable * Demonstrates "selling the invisible" - skills and knowledge of the Firm's value proposition that allows Sales to communicate an effective presentation of it. * Ability to consult with member marketing customers to create their twelve-month marketing strategy and hold them accountable to their monthly goals * Maintain accurate reporting of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities to management team * Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures they are communicated and implemented by those accountable to you. * Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to members, clients, prospects and company employees. * Adheres to all company Core Values and demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees. * Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity. * Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet and foster company core values. * The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field * Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing and sales. * Strong knowledge and experience in digital and social marketing * Ability to think creatively and innovatively. * Budget management skills and proficiency. * Professional level analytical, people, verbal and written communication and project management skills. * Strong working knowledge of strategic brand and campaign development and implementation. * Highly organized and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and ability to work in less than ideal time frames when required. * Must be self-led, coachable and willing to accept and implement direction and guidance. * Strong leadership skills and ability to identify professional developmental needs of others and coach, mentor them to desired level of improvement. * Work in a team atmosphere and delegate work effectively to team members. * Must be able to understand and navigate customer project management systems. * Extensive experience in all aspects of CRM * Willingness to travel and work with Firm's global team of marketing and technology professionals. * Proven ability to manage sales staff to meet revenue goals * Highly developed time management, organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask with clarity; facilitating multiple projects at the same time with the ability to monitor and assess self while doing so. * Skilled at getting information by observing, receiving and/or researching information from internal and external resources. * Demonstrate aptitude for working in sensitive environments requiring a high degree of confidentiality. * Knowledge and ability to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards. $75,000 - $100,000 + Profit Share Program
