Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) Use a variety of hand tools and microscope to clean, shape, smooth and remove excess material (debur) from precision machined components. Work will be somewhat repetitive by nature using small hand tools. Check/inspect parts to ensure all operations have been completed properly and in compliance with established specifications and procedures. Minimum Qualification Standards: High school diploma or GED. Must be detailed oriented, mechanically adept and have good fine motor skills. Possess knowledge of basic hand tool mechanics. Regular, physical on-site attendance is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work independently and follow procedural processes. Must be able to maintain an organized and clean work station. Adaptability adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Initiative Volunteers readily, asks for and offers help when needed. Innovation generates suggestions for improving work. Safety and Security observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. Physical Requirements: Minimal physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 5 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting. Starting Pay : $16.00/hr. - $16.50/hr.
