Job Description:
Saab, a global leader in defense and security solutions, is
seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff RF Electrical Engineer to
join our innovative engineering team. This role is pivotal in
designing and developing advanced RF systems that meet the precise
needs of military and civil security applications. At Saab, you'll
contribute to projects that are integral to global safety and
security, working at the forefront of technology to shape the
future of defense. Design, develop, and optimize RF systems and
circuits for use in radar, communication, and electronic warfare
applications. Lead RF design projects, ensuring they meet technical
performance within project timelines and budget requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical
engineers, software developers, and system architects to integrate
RF solutions into larger systems. Perform system-level analysis and
simulation, using advanced computational techniques and tools to
predict system performance in various scenarios. Prepare technical
documentation for system designs, test results, and design
methodologies. Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. Stay
abreast of the latest advancements in RF technology and contribute
to technological innovations within the company. Strong expertise
in RF system design, modeling, and analysis. Proficiency in
simulation software such as HFSS, ADS, or CST Microwave Studio.
Excellent knowledge of EMC/EMI considerations. Solid understanding
of circuit design and experience with RF hardware, such as
transmitters, receivers, and antennas. Ability to work
collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts
effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to
manage complex projects. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
or related field. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP)
is a plus. Relevant professional certifications from institutions
such as IEEE or similar.
