fun. Lake Clear Camp is seeking an energetic and safety-focused
Arts & Crafts and Nature Specialist to lead engaging instruction
and hands-on nature programming for campers. This role is ideal for
someone who enjoys teaching, being active outdoors, and helping
young people build skills, confidence, and appreciation for the
natural world. You’ll create fun, structured experiences that
balance learning, safety, and adventure, while contributing to a
positive and supportive camp culture. About Girl Scouts of

Clear Camp: Our Camps are unique and shaped by the physical, and
outdoor spaces in which they take place, the team-building nature
of our activities, and the welcoming environment that we strive to
create. Situated on 91 scenic acres of land on a peninsula on Lake
Clear is an Adirondack gem. The camp is surrounded by breathtaking
state land in the Adirondack Park, adjacent to the St. Regis Canoe
area. Facilities at Lake Clear Camp include renovated cabins with
full bathrooms, lean-to units, a dining hall, a health center, and
buildings for programs and activities. Campers range from first
through twelfth grade. Summer Camp dates at Lake Clear Camp are
July 27 – August 21, 2026. These dates include pre-camp training
and post-camp clean-up. All positions include room and board. Camp
staff are generally off from Friday evening through Sunday
afternoon each week. GSNENY operates two summer overnight camps;
Hidden Lake Camp in Lake George NY and Lake Clear camp near Saranac
Lake, NY. Many staff positions can be combined to work at both
camps for a full summer of employment (8 weeks total, June 28th –
August 22nd.) Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and facilitate
daily activities based on campers’ ages, abilities, and interest in
connection with the theme of the week or programmatic needs Assist
in the management building used for arts/crafts/nature instruction
and related equipment and supplies Follow all policies and
procedures set by GSNENY, ACA, DOH, etc. Compensation & Perks Earn
$70 - $80 per day (depending on experience). Work in the beautiful
park-like setting of Lake Clear Camp. Experience a summer of

old by July 27, 2026 Experience with planning and facilitation of
nature education for youth or willingness to learn Ability to
interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17; prior youth-focused
work or volunteer experience preferred. Ability to build and
