We are seeking Instructors in the following disciplines: Health Information Technology (HIT), Nursing, RadiationTechnology Clinical, Radiation Technology Lecture, Respiratory Care Clinical, RespiratoryCare Lecture, Physical Education Sports Medicine, and Surgical Technology.Adjunct faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines or provide clinical oversight for students in clinical rotations. Instruction may take place in traditional classroom settings, virtually, a combination of in-person and virtually, or at an off-campus clinical site. This position may include both daytime and evening class assignments. Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of the individual and the School needs.Overview of JobDuties:Facilitate classroom instruction, clinical instruction or oversee students at clinical sites; Teach assigned class in accordance with the learning objectives; Develop and maintain syllabus materials when applicable; Evaluate student performance; Maintain grades, enter midterm and final grades; Respond promptly to student inquiries; Maintain attendance records according to MVCC standards; Integrate current and emerging instructional delivery technologies into the learning process; Maintain professional standards that protect student confidentiality; Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing using discretion, patience, and courtesy.Qualifications:To view the minimumqualifications required to teach specific program courses within the School of Health Sciences, please visit: https://www.mvcc.edu/adjunct-faculty/minimum-qualifications.phpSpecial Instructions to Applicants: In addition to the required application, all applicants should submit a cover letter describing their qualifications for the position and a detailed resume/CV.
