applicant willsupport our B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology
program that addresses national and regional workforce needs and

Engineering Technology program welcomes applications from
candidates with expertise in the area of Control Systems, including
industrial control systems, mechatronics, machine learning and
robotics. Outstanding candidates in other areas will also be
considered.The successful candidate will: 1) Have a track record of
outstanding academic and scholarly achievements, 2) Be able
integrate their research into one of the CGAM Labs
(https://sunypoly.edu/academics/cgam/cgam-labs.html), 3) Be
expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and
working withundergraduate students, and 4) Develop an externally
funded research program. Qualified candidates are encouraged to

will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the
collegiate level and a strong research background related to SUNY
Poly's initiatives. The successful candidate's experience and
interests are expected to complement those of existing faculty at
SUNY Poly.Preference will be given to applicants with several years
of industrial experience and research and/or teaching experience.
Candidates should be able to support a breadth of disciplines
within Electrical Engineering field.Specific Duties include: 1)
Teach undergraduate courses in engineering technology, including,
introduction to electrical engineering technology, electric
circuits, electronics, control systems, industrial control systems,
robotics, etc. 2) Develop an externally funded scholarly research
program incorporating undergraduate students. Funded programs that
include academic, industry or government lab collaborations are
encouraged. 3) Advise undergraduate students and assist with a
variety of student club activities. 4) Work with faculty to
maintain ETAC-ABET assessment. 5) Develop courses, curriculum, and
laboratories. 6) Serve the College and community through outreach
activities.Other reasonable duties as assigned.During the first two
years of the appointment, a reduced teaching load to include two
classes per semester can be anticipated, providing an opportunity
to establish a research program and develop courses.Other

Qualifications:Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in
Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field from a
college or university accredited by the US Department of Education
or internationally accredited organization and have a record of
outstanding academic and scholarly achievements.Only complete

teaching undergraduate students, and past contributions and plans
