The plumber will be dedicated to delivering top-quality service, making our customers’ homes safe and comfortable while maintaining our high standards for safety and quality. This position would be ideal for an experienced plumber who is interested in developing and expanding their heating and cooling experience. Summary: For over 15 years, Arctic Bear has worked diligently to meet the changing heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners and businesses in and around Vestal, NY. Creating an enjoyable experience met with anticipation results in an environment where our team, clients, and community can comfortably grow, prosper, succeed, and improve their quality of life. Arctic Bear partners with leading HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United States, providing the support and resources of a large national company. Responsibilities: Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all types of high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, and conventional gas heating equipment Perform repair and installation of plumbing fixtures, faucets, liners, and water heaters Rough and finish plumbing of fixtures Continued communication with dispatch, management, the parts department, and the installation team Perform backflow tests (under our license if not licensed) Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of experience with plumbing Valid driver’s license / clean driving record Competencies: Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills Exceptional customer service skills Technical knowledge Strong organizational skills Ability to work individually and as part of a team Customer focused Problem-solving skills What can we offer you? High Base Salary Paid Personal Days Paid Holidays 401k Plan The starting hourly base wage for this position is $22-40. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
