Job Description Job Description We are partnering with a growing financial institution to identify an experienced Financial Controller who can lead accounting operations and play a key role in their continued success. About the Role This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for all accounting operations—daily, monthly, and quarterly—while managing a team and serving as the face of the accounting function across the organization. You’ll oversee financial reporting, compliance, and controls, while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and purchasing. Manage and mentor a team (directly 3, indirectly a larger group). Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory reporting accuracy. Drive process improvements and implement policies and systems. Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership. Partner cross-functionally to support organizational goals. What We’re Looking For 15 years of experience in accounting leadership. Experience in a large, complex financial organization (please include prior group size in your application). Forward-thinking, personable leader with strong communication skills.
