As a Tax Payment Specialist, you will coordinate and execute accurate and timely tax payments across federal, state, and local agencies. Working closely with our Payroll Tax Manager, you'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and outstanding service in every client interaction. What You'll Do:

Set up new payroll clients in MasterTax and manage EFTPS enrollments
Review and audit client account setups for accuracy and compliance
Process daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax payments and filings
Submit EFT credits, check payments, and state vouchers
Troubleshoot and resolve agency notices and payment variances
Support bank change updates and maintain clear interdepartmental communication
Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate tax remittance
Assist with quarterly reconciliations, 1040 ES payments, and interim quarter-end processing

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5+ years of payroll/tax accounting experience
Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, payment systems, and compliance standards
Experience with MasterTax is required
FPC or CPP Certification is a plus
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Able to work independently and adapt in a high-volume, high-growth setting
