Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse(s), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies.Key Responsibilities: Assist in assessing physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients and in planning individualized treatment programs. Implement treatment plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical procedures. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with policies and procedures. Document nursing encounters and communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
