and more. Job Summary: Directs and coordinates all activities of
production department. This includes, but is not limited to
receiving, batching, storage, filling, and packaging of all
products produced at the facility. This is accomplished by
performing the following duties personally or through subordinate
supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinating
all activities involved with the scheduling and allocation of
resources necessary to produce all finished product. Ensure all
products produced meet all quality specifications. Direct
organizational operations, projects, or services. Hire, train, and
otherwise manage personnel in accordance with essential duties of
all managed job roles and in accordance with company culture Ensure
all company and OSHA safety requirements are met and maintained
Work closely with other department managers to maximize efficiency
of the operation Operate the department within financial
constraints of planned budget Plans production operations,
establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing
activities to ensure production and quality of products meets
specifications. Reviews production and operating reports and
resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to
ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Inspects
machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance
and optimum utilization. Develops or revises standard operational
and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance
with standards. Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled
grievances to Production Superintendent for action. Compiles,
stores, and retrieves production data. Prepare staff work schedules
and assign specific duties. Monitor suppliers to ensure that they
efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within
budgetary limits. Education and Experience: 5 years of production
supervisory experience. Minimum Associates degree in food science
or manufacturing preferred Skills and Competencies: Microsoft
Office suite Ability to work well with others Strong mechanical
aptitude. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose
the best solution and solve problems. Providing guidance and
direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards
and monitoring performance. Monitoring/Assessing performance of
yourself, other individuals to make improvements or take corrective
action. Giving full attention to what other people are saying,
taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions
as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in
strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique,
production methods, and coordination of people and resources. HP

experience and location. The pay range for this position is $93,100
